Drop the ring onto the ball and hook, and the SecureLatch mechanism automatically engages the primary lock. Just insert the secondary safety pin and you're ready to tow. This unique pintle ball hitch also has a cupped design to hold the lunette eyelet more tightly and deter chucking noises. This ball and pintle combo is rated for 20,000 pounds gross trailer weight, 14,000 pounds ball capacity and is constructed from austempered cast iron for superior strength and wear resistance. It has a standard 2-5/16-inch ball and fits 2-1/2-inch or 3-inch lunette rings. NOTE: SecureLatch slotted pintle mount required for installation (pintle mount and bolts sold separately).
