Models equipped with Ford's Heavy Duty Suspension (Quad Shock Package) will simply use a single aftermarket shock. The supplied shock will mount on the rear side of the axle (closest to the cab) on models equipped with the Quad Shock Package.
Vehicles with factory quad shocks (2 front shocks per side) will simply use a single aftermarket shock.
